Bruce R. Tucker, CFP®

Mr. Tucker is a Principal of Sterling Financial Planning, Inc. (SFPI), an Independent Registered Investment Advisor. Mr. Tucker actively works with clients to help them identify and work toward achieving their financial and investment goals. Additionally, Mr. Tucker is instrumental in maintaining the firm’s procedural activities to meet the firm’s fiduciary responsibility to its clients. As a former bank loan officer and commercial credit analyst, Mr. Tucker, brings added experience to the firm. When he is not involved with client work or procedural oversight work, Mr. Tucker participates in investment seminars offered by the firm.
Mr. Tucker is a member in good standing of the Financial Planning Association of New Jersey (FPANJ). He has served as past President and Board Member of the Northern New Jersey Society of The Institute of Certified Financial Planners, Inc. (NNJS-ICFP). He has also served as Ethics Director of the FPANJ.
Mr. Tucker is securities licensed and also holds licenses in life, accident and health insurance and offers products in those areas. SFPI offers fee-based investment management.
Mr. Tucker is a graduate of Lycoming College. His education was temporarily interrupted when he was called to serve in the military. While serving in the military, Mr. Tucker had top-secret clearance.
He and his wife reside in New Jersey. He enjoys sailing, harness racing and other outdoor activities.

Nicholas A. Nicolette, CFP®

Mr. Nicolette is a Principal of Sterling Financial Planning, Inc. (SFPI), an Independent Registered Investment Advisor. He has been involved in the financial planning profession since 1981. He provides comprehensive financial planning that includes, but is not limited to, retirement, pensions, investment management, and tax or estate planning. Mr. Nicolette is also a frequent lecturer on various financial topics and has been interviewed in a number of publications, including USA Today and the Daily Record. He offers a variety of workshops on financial-related topics primarily tailored to individuals or groups seeking sophisticated financial planning designed to help them achieve their life’s goals.
He is also a very active member in a number of organizations relating to his profession. He currently serves as board member of the National Financial Planning Association (FPA). Prior to his election as board member, he was Chairman and President of the FPA New Jersey chapter. As past President of the Northern New Jersey Society of The Institute of Certified Financial Planners, Inc. (NNJS-ICFP), Mr. Nicolette was instrumental in transitioning the NNJS-ICFP chapter into the FPA of New Jersey. He has also been active on the Post 911 Relief Effort assisting victims’ families with pro bono financial planning assistance.
Mr. Nicolette is securities licensed and also holds licenses in life, accident and health insurance and offers products in those areas. SFPI offers fee-based investment management services.
Mr. Nicolette is a graduate of Davidson College. He is married and has two children. He enjoys family activities and tai chi.

Mr. Wescott is a Principal of Sterling Financial Planning, Inc. (SFPI), an Independent Registered Investment Advisor. He joined the firm in 1996 and has been very active in assisting clients with their financial and investment needs. Mr. Wescott came to Sterling Financial with a strong insurance background. He was formerly a branch manager in the life insurance field. Prior to joining Sterling Financial, Mr. Wescott ran his own advisory firm for several years. He has given seminars in local areas covering many aspects of financial and investment planning.
Mr. Wescott is an active member in his local Newton Rotary chapter. He is a member in good standing of the Financial Planning Association of New Jersey (FPANJ). He has served as past President of the Northern New Jersey Society of The Institute of Certified Financial Planners, Inc. (NNJS-ICFP). He is also a former faculty member of the National Institute of Finance. Mr. Wescott has also served on a number of non-profit organizations.
Mr. Wescott is securities licensed and also holds licenses in life, accident and health insurance and offers products in those areas. SFPI offers fee-based investment management services.
A life-long New Jersey resident, Mr. Wescott is married and has two children. He enjoys sports, particularly skiing and tennis.

Ms. King is a Senior Associate of Sterling Financial Planning, Inc. (SFPI), an Independent Registered Investment Advisor. She was one of the original founders of the firm and now focuses her time on client issues, and spends the majority of that time working with clients both face to face and electronically from her South Carolina office. She returns to Sparta headquarters periodically to meet with clients and participate in business decisions. She has given presentations to women’s groups on various financial subjects of interest to women. Prior to becoming a financial planner, Ms. King and her husband ran a successful garden and nursery business in New York. In 1980, she began her studies to receive her Certificate in Financial Planning while participating in a management training position with a mutual fund company.
Ms. King is a member in good standing of the National Financial Planning Association and the South Carolina Chapter. She has also been active on a variety of boards associated with non-profit organizations.
Ms. King is securities licensed and also holds licenses in life, accident and health insurance and offers products in those areas. SFPI offers fee-based investment management services.
Ms. King and her husband, Paul, reside in South Carolina. They have two daughters and two granddaughters. They enjoy offshore bill fishing in their catamaran and preparing gourmet meals.

Glen A. Thomas, MBA, CFA®

Mr. Thomas is a Senior Associate of Sterling Financial Planning, Inc. (SFPI), an Independent Registered Investment Advisor. He has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) since 1999. Mr. Thomas has been instrumental in developing the firm’s various portfolio models and analyzing the investment selections used within client portfolios. He works closely with the principals of the firm and their clients in assessing the relationship between clients’ asset composition and their stated investment goals. His recommendations are based on multiple research tools employed by the firm. Mr. Thomas also assists the organization in the area of “Employee Stock Option Planning”. Prior to joining Sterling Financial, Mr. Thomas was an Investment Specialist at Charles Schwab and Company, Inc.
Mr. Thomas is a member in good standing of the Association for Investment Management and Research. He is also a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts. He is securities licensed and offers fee-based investment management services.
Mr. Thomas is a graduate of Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Management. He resides in New Jersey with his wife and 2 children. In his free time he enjoys spending quality time with his family.

Ms. Nikaido is a Senior Associate of Sterling Financial Planning, Inc. (SFPI), an Independent Registered Investment Advisor. She joined the firm in 1997. She works closely with the principals of the firm to assist clients with their financial and investment planning needs. She produces financial plans for those clients who have engaged Sterling for financial planning services. As an insurance producer, she also assists clients with their long-term care and life insurance needs. Ms. Nikaido has been a past speaker at seminars hosted by the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Program of Sussex County. Her presentations have covered topics from long-term care to investing for women. She has also given presentations on college financial aid and written articles on the same subject for area newspapers.
Ms. Nikaido has completed the Certified Financial Plannerä curriculum from FDU and is a CFP® Candidate member of the Financial Planning Association of New Jersey (FPANJ). She is working toward a CFP® designation.

Ms. Nikaido is a graduate of California State University at Northridge. She is a long-time New Jersey resident and enjoys skiing and other outdoor activities.

Matthew Hannum, CFP®

Mr. Hannum, a Certified Financial Planner(TM) practitioner since March 2006, is an Associate of Sterling Financial Planning, Inc. He works closely with the principals of the firm to develop tailored financial plans designed to fit the specific needs of each client. He is also actively involved in the development, maintenance and monitoring of client accounts.
Before accepting a permanent position upon graduation, Mr. Hannum began his career working for Sterling as an intern. He has proven to be invaluable to the Sterling team in both investment management and financial planning. Mr. Hannum is a member in good standing of the National Financial Planning Association and the New Jersey Chapter (FPANJ). He is also actively involved in the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce and Newton Rotary.

Mr. Hannum is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and International Business. He currently resides in New Jersey. He enjoys a number of outdoor activities as well as spending time with his wife and family.

Ms. Iannuzzi is an Associate of Sterling Financial Planning, Inc. She joined the firm in 2002. Ms. Iannuzzi works closely with the principals of the firm and their clients to ensure their accounts are maintained and handled efficiently. She frequently communicates with clients, custodians and vendors to ensure client interests are being well served. Her strong brokerage operations background has certainly proven to be an asset to the firm. Prior to joining Sterling Financial, Ms. Iannuzzi was an Investment Specialist at Charles Schwab and Company, Inc. for ten years. In the past she has also served as an Operations Manager for Shearson Lehman Brothers.
Ms. Iannuzzi is securities licensed.
Ms. Iannuzzi resides in New Jersey with her husband and three children. In her free time she enjoys family activities and the great outdoors.

Dr. Weiner is an Associate of Sterling Financial Planning, Inc. He works closely with the principals of the firm to develop tailored financial plans designed to fit the specific needs of each client. He is also actively involved in the development, maintenance and monitoring of client accounts.
Prior to joining the Sterling Financial Group, Ross was a tenured Assistant Professor of Economics at The City College of New York, having joined the faculty there in 1999. He has been a consultant to the University of Transkei, South Africa, the South African Government, and a lecturer at the University of Massachusetts. His research experience includes work on the impact of transportation infrastructure on businesses in New Jersey and the economic impact of publicly funded and constructed sports arena and stadiums on local and regional economic growth and development.
Ross holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. |
