I am thrilled to be a part of Sterling Financial Group as a Financial Planning Associate. As a valued member of the Sterling team, I bring over seven years of experience supporting advisors in financial planning, investment research, and client service. I work closely with our principals and senior advisors, playing a key role in the planning process for both new and existing clients. My responsibilities include data gathering, plan development, client communication, meeting preparation, and administrative support.
I hold a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University. My journey into the financial industry began helping my parents with their small business. That experience sparked a passion for financial planning and a desire to help families navigate their financial lives with clarity and confidence.
I take an educational-first approach with every client, ensuring they feel informed and empowered in their decision-making. I always aim to understand each client's unique goals and provide thoughtful strategies to help them succeed.
Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, I grew up in a hardworking Mexican-American family. My hometown taught me resilience, grit, and the importance of community—qualities I bring into my professional life every day. I now live in Clifton, NJ, where I enjoy the diversity, vibrant food scene, and easy access to nature and New York City.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, skiing, tennis, cooking, and exploring new cuisines. I also enjoy playing board games and following my favorite sports teams, including the NY Jets, Yankees, Knicks, Rangers, Red Bulls, Formula 1, UFC, and European football.
My wife, Laura, and I met on the swim team in high school. Today, we live with her parents in a two-family home and our two dogs: Millie, a husky, and Luke, a rescued shepherd-hound mix. Family is at the core of my personal values and inspires the work I do every day to help others achieve financial peace of mind.
